The capillary tube in the industrial chiller is a pure copper tube with a very thin diameter with a specified length. So what is the role of capillaries in industrial chillers?
The capillary is one of the throttling devices of industrial chillers. Its function in industrial chillers is to throttle, increase the flow resistance of the liquid flowing through the capillary, and finally achieve the purpose of controlling the liquid supply, but it increases the liquid flow resistance.
While controlling the liquid supply, the capillary also has the function of reducing pressure. When the high-pressure refrigerant flows through the capillary, it will change from high-pressure liquid to low-pressure high-temperature gas.
